This was a small meet, maybe 50 cars. While I was expecting mostly hot rods, a lot of muscle cars and a few imports showed up as well. Hosted at Griot’s.
My Favorite car of the show was this old Packard Ambulance. Perfect the way it is.
Followed closely by this AMX restomod, had some very nice modern touches. I love the shift nob. Paint choice is from a 2010 Mustang.
The same 383 powered 911 I saw last week that sounded bad, all is forgiven if it can do wheelies.
Saw my first Tesla Model X, not as ugly in person as I expected.
This Plymouth Fury was also a standout.
Out of only 75 1960 Corvettes in Cascade Green Metallic, 2 of them happened to be at this show. The second one was in storage for 40 years and looks amazing for not being restored.
These black cars were having a hard time keeping clean with all the pollen in the air.
This Factory Five Cobra was running a Lincoln 460 and had 2015 Mustang Paint.
My favorite year of GTO, 1964. Had a very nice looking 421.
There was a Cavalier that didn’t really fit in and this thing that had a Cefiro badge. Was RHD but mostly terrible.

A four-door Fury in mint green, same year as that black two-door, was the first car I ever drove.
The Packard by its grill is probably the earlier series of the ‘48-’50s, and I think was a Custom Eight. The lit Cormorant is really unusual and may have been borrowed off another car.

I would love to drive around in an old Fury, 2 or 4 doors. That Packard was in the parking lot so unfortunatley there was no one to talk to about it. I think the colored wings work well for an Ambulance, even if its not original.

Man that Fury has some great lines.
