To most people, the 1-series has always been the ugly-duckling of the BMW stable, but I’ve always liked the looks. Like a bulldog with eyeliner. I’m not such a fan of the latest 1-series, no longer available in the US, so who cares?
I also think the 1-series looks better than the 2-series. Come at me, bro.

Agreed with the 1 series looking better than the 2 series. Especially the Ms. The M2 at the NYIAS was awesome to sit in but looks awkward from outside. Maybe it was the blue paint..

I love these. I put a deposit on one knowing full well that I couldn’t afford to buy it, but the dealer said that a deposit was the only way to get a test drive in one. Then I was out of the country when my number came up:( It’s a gift and a curse that there are so few of these.

I have been meaning to tell you how gorgeous those rims you have are. I’ve never seen those rims until you got them and posted on Oppo about them.

Finding one in manual was extremely difficult, and a lot of the cars listed as manual were in fact automatic. I’ve had this one for a year now and it’s been so good.

Thanks! Apex is one of the few companies that make wheels specifically for the 1-series and its weird offsets. That they look nice and were semi-affordable were just bonuses.

Mine is DCT. That’s one of the main reasons I bought it, actually.
