1) The OPP literally do not give a shit as long as you’re not being a complete asshole.

2) Although I understand why Kingston’s roads are designed the way they are, being built after a lot of the town had already been built and all that, fuck driving in K-Town.

So that means you’re down with the OPP? ;)

If I had a dollar for every time someone made one of those jokes in response to one of my posts or comments, I’d have a lot of money.

I have been passed by the opp on that stretch while doing 120, it was like I was standing still.

Driving last night we had two OPP cruisers (a Tahoe and an Explorer) go flying by us in a similar fashion to what you went through. It was pretty great.

1) Not at this time of the month. They get sticky (sometimes) at the end.

also, did I mention the speed limit is only 90?

BC Cops dont batt an eye at 120 on highway. Limit in the lower mainland is usually between 70-90 and I never travel at less than 120 unless there is someone in front of me slowing me down.

40 Over or more and they can charge you with “Dangerous Driving” and seize your car indefinitely if they desire. Seems like they don’t even bother stopping people for anything less.

Once you get a bit further east the limit jumps to 100, then 120. On my last trip to Kelowna and back I set the cruise at 140 and just steered without ever tapping the brakes.

Touch that cellphone or dare drive in the HOV Lane without a passenger however and they’ll light you up and smack your peepee with a quickness.
