My wife, mother-in-law, and I went on a Mediterranean Cruise over Christmas. We went to Spain, France, Monaco, and Italy. I have been meaning to post this for a while and since it is snowing today it is appropriate. We had a blast! It was my first cruise and first time to Europe. The only bummer was being rushed at each port. I could have spent a week in Rome. It makes me want to go back and do it Rick Steves style.

The tour guide in Monaco said this was a bunch of rich Russians using a race to tear up the countryside. He did’nt seem impressed, They had some cool gear though.

Went on the same cruise last Christmas, only we skipped Monaco because it would have been Christmas Day. I loved it, the people were all so kind except in France. My favorite part was the amalfi coast, it was so nice.

Did you manage to get a look around Barcelona? I assume that’s where you moored whilst in Spain. Beautiful city.
Edit. Yes you did the BMW scooter is at bottom of Plaça de Catalunya just down from the Hard Rock Cafe.

Did a short walk. Gorgeous friendly crowd. Another city I could ecplore for a week plus. And wow good catch on yhe scooter.

Thanks, I was on vacation here a few weeks ago. It was my first time in Spain, I loved the city I’d move there in a heart beat if there was a job for me and my fiance. It’s only a two hour flight from my nearest airport too. The only downside is that the air quality is noticeably bad (compared to where I am currently).
