No way. Have you even seen the mortality rate with these guys?

No.

Just the body count in A New Hope alone is impressive. I’m not sure which is more of a death sentence, stormtrooper armor or a red shirt. :)

Thank you so much for that link. I've always had the thought at the end of movies, "Wait they're celebrating? Don't they realize 50 people just died in that chase scene?" Glad someone tallied them up.

It seems a far greater percentage of red shirt ensigns are killed when compared to Storm Troopers. However, there seem to be a lot more Storm Troopers.

Never hits anything, but gets hit by everyone not that isn't a Storm Trooper.

A little sobering. But at least they were mostly extras.

Yes, it’s the difference between mortality number and mortality rate.

Don’t worry, I’m sure he’s safer in that GT than in a tie fighter. You’re the one who knows how fast it can outrun anything. ;)

Could be worse, he could be stuck in a TIE bomber. All the unshielded vulnerability combined with bad speed and maneuverability.

Hope the empire has a good VA system.

Well, it never hits whatever is protected by plot armor.
