Here’s where we started:

Gross, right? Looks like I’m on four donut spares.

Here’s the finished product:

I’m gonna go ahead and call that a rousing success. From my quick ride home, I’d say they’re a little louder than the passenger car tires I had (no shock there, and I’m talking a tiny difference if any) and they seem to ride just as good, which is a little surprising. Also, my truck looks like a truck now.

That's about as good as I can possibly feel about spending $800 on anything.

Looks good. I almost got a set of BFGoodwrenches for the Explorer but deemed them too aggressive for what I needed them for so I went with coopers but congrats on your lighter wallet haha

IMO Fords always came with undersized tires. Another example:

Stock: (not my truck)

My truck: just slightly bigger tires

Much better IMO.

For real. My cousin actually said in a small version of the picture it looks like a Ranger now because the tires are much larger proportionally. I knew how bad (and probably unsafe) the old tires looked before, but they somehow look even worse in comparison to the new ones.
