I love these things, I don’t know what it is but I lose my shit when I find a hidden one in Japan. I really want the coupe. There are strange little showrooms in Japan, I did see one at a place like that but I couldn’t buy it at the time. They are usually like a tiny glass front shop packed tight with a few old cars for sale. Usually nobody there to man them, you just call if you want to buy.

It’s like an Anglia that’s been in the dryer for too long.

Mazda Carol Deluxe. With what I’m sure is the smallest four cylinder ever put into a production car.

Buddy on Facebook mentioned the Harry Potter car. For sure, a lot of early Japanese designs were derivative.

Hope you find one. And you’ll never see one coming down the road at you - you’re probably it.

But you have to admit the vented rear engine area is pretty cool and original.

They are around in Japan, you just have to look. I can’t import one right now, I have too many things to pay for, like anything that comes up unexpectedly on my two older cars!

Yeah I do, they are cushy tanks, my wife calls me grandpa, we pretty much only see ancient drivers in them here haha. A few bio hippies in beat to shit 240Ds of course too. The Merc has been good but a few things are wearing out and just need replacing. The tranny slips between 2nd and 3rd but I was told it might do that forever so just wait for it to break.
