This is how my car looks like right now, which is pretty good. But to interior LED or to not interior LED?

I’m thinking of picking some up for my Accent....not very expensive, so there’s no harm in trying! :)

It’s one of those things I’ll upgrade when the stock bulb burns out. I’m in no hurry to do it though.

The HEMIWagon came with LEDs inside. Doesn’t look bad to be honest. They’re bluish which I’m not a huge fan of, so maybe I’ll try and replace them in the future with a more white LED, but they’re bright as hell, so it’s pretty convenient at night.

I’m not a big fan of most interior led replacement bulbs from what I’ve seen. Too bright and harsh imo. The gentle glow from and old fashioned bulb is warmer looking and less stressful on the eye.
Plus I doubt the theater lighting function in my car would play nice.

yeah, LEDs are directional and to get even lighting from them you need some sort of diffuser or light pipe.

LOL - that’s likely to be an exceptionally long time.

I wouldn’t personally, I like the inside of my car to have as few lights as possible. At night I’ll turn the gauge cluster lights either all the way down or off entirely.

I plan on doing this really soon. I tried before but kept getting CANBUS issues and have them drawing slight power so they glew a little when the car was off.
If you do it, spend the money and actually get decent bulbs. Cheap ones will burn out quickly, not work at all, or create errors like mine.

Only if they’re similar to natural sunlight. Don’t go for blue, green, or purple. None of THAT looks good.

I did it, I like it. Didn’t cost much, and is easily reversible if you hate it.
