I just had some of this bad boy and I’ve learned I’m not a huge schwarz fan. I can’t quite pin it down, but it may be because it’s so ‘licorice-y’. I’d drink it, but I wouldn’t buy it myself.

I’m on the fence about black lager. Maybe I’ll have to give it another try sometime. Beck’s got some new amber Lager that I’l also try out.

Man, it’s been a while since I had Kolsch. I’m going to have to run over to Ontario and pick some up. I think they have Gaffel, and it’s better than nothing.

I just had to try it and didn’t regret it. Kölsch isn’t really popular here in Bavaria.
