Kinja'd!!!

not my dog

I think puppies do everything in their power to make you feel like a horrible human being when you attempt to establish any boundaries, or God forbid, ignore them for fifteen seconds.

The whining, the howling, the whimpers, and that pathetic look they give you.

Cats are so much easier.

Cats basically have that “I don’t need you” attitude

Puppies want all of your love and attention!

Everything is so cynical too. Like if I appease my dog when she whines to get what she wants, I’m establishing that she has power over me, or something (which I get)!

Dogs have owners, cats have personnel.

My dog is six years old and still does this. He’s a huge puppy.

my dog annoys me when she whines, she’s too selfish. Her whine for potty and “I want the leftover food particles on the table, give me now please” are the same thing. She’ll whine every 10 minutes until she gets the food too. I’ve learned to ignore her because I really stopped caring.

Puppies are a lot smarter than we give credit for. The little ones are always pushing boundaries. Trying to see how far they can push you before it’s punishment time.

Our dog knows who’s got the soft spot. He listens to my fiancee, but when I tell him something he gives me a look like “yea ok, mom’s not here so I’ll do whatever I want.” Even if she is there, he will look to her for approval before he does anything that I say. That’s ok though we’re pals.

Having a dog is like living with a permanent toddler.

having a cat is like living with a permanent teenager.

Seeing that out of context in my notifications was rather alarming.
