I saw one today, near mint condition, in a lovely light blue, with some rims that almost looked a little like RS Watanabes (They weren’t, however). What a fantastic looking car.

I also saw an F-Type, but who cares about some rando British car when you’ve seen a Capri.

A friend of mine’s father has a 73, which he’s the original owner of. He restored it 10 or so years back and just takes it out on weekends now.

These are awesome. I tried to find a decent one in Austin for a while, then gave up. Maybe it’s time to try again. And those minilite wheels are killer.

Yeah, they were great looking cars. The Mercury badged ones were way more attractive than the Mustangs of the same vintage. I tried to find one years ago, and there just don’t seem to be any left in this country, other than a few rust buckets and some that have been highly modified.

One of the few cars that actually might have a better survival rate in the UK than the US.

They used to make the Mk1 Capri here

Yes, but it was a Mk2 I saw, and those were only built in Germany and Belgium.
