The guy says he wants me to sign an insurance waiver and thus needs my full name and that he’ll get his lawyer on it (in the space of less than 24 horus...on a weekend). Uhh...is this legit?

I’ve never heard of insurance waiver. I do know that my full coverage insurance covers me for any vehicle I purchase for 30 days or until I add it to the policy. So not sure if that’ll work for motorcycles since they are treated entirely separate from a car insurance.
