I usually never really look closely at the Veloster, because the styling makes me sad.
But these little swoopy arcs in the tail light are really a pretty cool touch. It's not the easiest thing to discern in a photo, but they start from the upper corner and curve down to the four bulbs at the bottom with a little twist along the way.

Hyundai/Kia make some bitchin’ tail lights.

“guys, I just scribbled that down. It’s not how it’s supposed to look!”
“eh. They look cool."

Ever since Mr. Regular tested a Veloster I have thought: UUUUUUGLEE!

I like the Veloster. They are getting pretty cheap now, a lot of car for 12-11K.

As it is with Hyundai/Kia products, depreciation makes these a lot more accessible than, say, a Fiesta/Focus ST. I see a lot more Veloster Turbos than I do any ST Fords in my area. It’s not going to be the last word on performance or refinement, but I figure the value for dollar is where the Veloster Turbo comes out on top.
While I like the Turbo model, I think I prefer the grille on the NA models instead, but I suppose they needed to open it up so air can get to the intercooler.

Yeah. I am saving for a challenger, but when I found out manual veloster turbo’s were like 8K compared to 20K-30K for a charger with a V8 and a stick shift looks temping. 8K loan would be easy peasy, I’d only have to borrow about half.
