Flushing is great for northern Chinese food (dumplings, noodles, hotpot, etc) as well as Korean and Japanese food. Oh yeah, get some bubble tea! :)
8 Ave in Brooklyn, including some big restaurants on 65th St (imo, best one on 65th is called East Harbor; there’s also a workshop next door that frequently houses Alfas) are great for Cantonese food (lots of meat/seafood, etc).
