You mean the steelies? Being Boston and all, the dude probably bought them to stick snow tires on during the winter. At least that’s what I assume considering the listing mentioned having OEM 18's also included

I believe all X-types sold in the US came with AWD standard. The manual was a rare option, but people bought them and they’re out there. The steelies... well it did share a platform with the Mondeo, though I kinda like the winter-mode look.

Confirmed. Almost bought one until the owner went craigslist crazy on me. Manual and AWD. This one is in way better condition and it is cheaper. If I didn’t have too many cars already, I’d definitely buy this.
