A motocycle designer wonders what if they could make a motorcycle that was ALL SIDECAR. The Sociable was the result. And this is what it looks like from its “good side”.
Here’s what it looks like going the other way:

But does it feature the famous 500cc two-stroke liquid-cooled parallel twin? Or the wondrous 1000cc triple?

Per wiki...
“Its power was supplied by the Scott Company’s own water-cooled 578 cc twin-cylinder two-stroke engine with drive transmitted through a three-speed gearbox to the offside rear wheel by shaft. There was no reverse gear. Turning was dangerous at speed. [1]”
Dangerous at speed? Who’d have thought?

Scott was a bad-ass collection of absolute insanity back in the day.
That 2-stroke twin made something like 50+hp in racing trim, in the 1930s.
If only EssExTee could be so grossly incandescent

In a similar vein, meet the Ural:
Depending on the model, the sidecar may be permanantly attached and has its wheel driven by a driveshaft connected to a power takeoff on the side of the bike.
