just rolled over to 100,000 yesterday
and the last of my current order finally arrived. Now awaiting acceptable weather and free time to install “new” exhaust, short shifter, poly bushings all around, vacuum gauge, and a mystery item from my brother (based on a recent post of mine he too thought would be a hoot)

I'm up to 216k in my 01 Golf. I bet it would make 300k if I can put up with it that long.

Psh. Driving your own car was banned in 2026. You’re some sort of outlaw.

Heh. The serial number (last 6 VIN digits) of one of the work trucks I used to drive was 136666. Hell of a truck .

Yeah, that truck was quite an experience! I might not have even noticed the VIN if it wasn’t for having to mark the gas receipts.
