Ok, I get it, your classic bimmer from 1988 is a classic, it’s an M3. They have some kind of race history, great. but realllllyyyy????

I’d pay around what they’re asking given the condition.

Yea man, and they go for that price! EAG has a few over 100k last time I looked. If you’re going to spend stupid money on an old bimmer, I’ll take a Z8.

The going rate for a decent E30 M3 is now easily clearing $40k+ Good luck finding a decent one for much cheaper.

It’s a steal compared to this M5. But still, I wanna know what people are smoking lately.

That’s a bad example. Two years ago the convertibles were going for between $40k-$60k. I doubt anyone will purchase that for over $100,000.

A fool and his money are soon parted. Surely a great car, but only wieners are buying these to park them and watch them appreciate. I can’t wait until this bubble bursts.
Plus WOW over 200k miles?

And yet, because it’s on CL, it somehow still has pictures of it riding on wheels that DON’T COME WITH THE F-ING CAR. I mean, it’s nearly $40k, just include the goddamn wheels.

yeah... and this one looks really decent considering the 200k on the odometer.

This is a joke, right? This is the cheapest decent E30 M3 I’ve seen for sale in months. Going rate for concours cars is $75-90k, drivers are $45,000 or so. Rough (but complete) cars are $25-35k, maybe running, maybe not.

No I’ve see one or two that high. I think they were both alpina models. You can get one for a touch over 100k.
