I’m tickled pink. It is amazing. The guy came to my house after I got off work at 5:00, and he had a long metal stick and several tiny hammers with rubber ends. He tapped on it and held mirrors up against it for two hours and voila, good as new. I’m amazed.

Not bad at all. For two hours of work? A steal. Congratulations!

It truly is miraculous. Hail pepperd my hood and roof with dozens of dents. After PDR you can't tell.

I’ve watched these guys work. A lot of the time what they do is use some glue to stick a small plunger to the center of the dimple, then give it a jerk after it sets up. The glue breaks free, but not after inverting the dimple. After that it’s a bunch of massaging with mallets and small plastic pointy anvils to get the metal worked out flat again. Sounds simple, really isn’t.

He had a long stick he stuck inside the door by the window and then he had little hammers with rubber ends and he literally pecked at it and shined lights and mirrors on it for two hours. I watched for a bit and then went inside because it was exhausting me. No way I’d have the patience for that lol

I love having a good paintless dent repair guy.
Just curious, how much did he charge you for that?

Wow, that’s a good price. The guy I use charges about that much. But there’s a dent guy that works next to my shop (auto shop), and he charges up the ass. Apparently he charges $95 minimum, and then by the hour or something. But he’s got to make enough to pay his rent and utilities and sit around all day. Mobile dent guys are the only people you should call.
