And by fun I mean absolutely terrible.

Somehow the Safari didn’t seem any more strained pulling the fat pig that is the Gen4 Camaro than it does moving itself.

Why am I towing my friends Camaro he’s had a week? Well he lost control trying to avoid someone who lost control in the snow on the expressway and hit the median and the car has refused to start since then.

We learned today his no-start was due to the force of the impact snapping the fuel pump in half.

I would of thought that problem was the inertia fuel cut-off switch. Not the fuel pump getting decapitated

That’s what we all thought too, until we went to pull the pump out and it came out in two pieces!

Basically it dulls the throttle response (the job that the drive-by-wire TB’s now do electronically) to avoid driveline clunking. Gives you a more gradula throttle opening rather than a linear one.

As a result, you always have enough power, but it never feels like it.

I don't think it gets much sadder than a camaro with a huge dent and a donut on the rear being pulled by a mom van.

I highly doubt the non-Vortec 4.3 in the van has anything like that. Especially since it has really bad clunking.

V6? Those weigh around 33XX lbs, not super light, but no piggy either.

It could be that it doesn’t work 100% and that everything is badly worn out.

I’m pretty sure they all had it, it came up all the time when I was looking at S10s.
