YEAH! We made that thing! Now if only enthusiasts (who need a car) would buy them! The ball is in their court ....

Nah, they’re all waiting to buy them used.

So much better than some no brainer like “SRT” or “Snake”.

Don’t worry, I’ll buy one.

While that is good execution , I think this would be a bit more fitting for that plate:

I guess it does apply to all Vipers but I liked the unrefined brutality of the older ones since the new ones had to face much stiffer competition. I also liked the fact that the GTS-R looked like a beast in racing - I still remember having to download third party files for it to load into Need for Speed: High Stakes which I played with my Microsoft Sidewinder controller on a Win98 PC.
I don’t know the full history of Viper racing but it’s had some outright wins, class wins, and I’m sure many podium finishes. Class wins in Le Mans are nothing to write off when you’ve only finished behind much faster LMP or GT1 cars. It may have been a French team, but it’s not like the French and Americans haven’t worked together before these races to achieve other great things.
I love Corvettes for the great racing the C7R provides, but the Viper was formidable, even in it’s final GTS-R form before the program was terminated. I hope to see it racing again someday - I’d love to see a 24h Daytona race where instead of only two Corvettes, we see then mixed in with a couple of Vipers as well.

Needs a license plate frame that says, “Hell, yeah!”.

LOL The enthusiasts who have the means and want one already did. The rest who don’t are waiting for it to hit craigslist with 100k miles and 75% depreciation attached.
It’s the enthusiast cycle; we only care when the car is cheap enough to buy used, so not enough people buy them new, so they go away, so we complain (or get jobs in the auto industry and make production decisions) until they come back, then we say how awesome they are, then we wait until they are cheap enough to buy used, so not enough people buy them new, so...

Ah, that old song ... if I could, I’d buy a new one to assure they keep making them.
