At least those blue ones look less like VCRs. :D

How’s the Oppo Forza 6 community? Because I hope I’ll be able to join you guys for a game or two at some point.

There’s an endurance racing series for Forza 6.

Will do once I’m in. Currently doing the initial update. It’s taking bloody ages.

Mine has suddenly stopped recognizing wifi networks, which has been kind of a problem since it’s all I have to stream Amazon Video from. I’ve been too busy to do any real troubleshooting other than restarting, anyone else had that issue?

Worst case scenario you could get some powerline adaptors.

I was thinking about that, but I have tested it right next to the router as well, and the it’s still not recognizing the signal. It doesn’t seem to be a signal strength issue. My next step was going to be grabbing an Ethernet cord to try a wired connection and see if that will work.

Have you hard-reset the Xbone?

I was going to save that as a last resort. I didn’t want to have to re-download everything again. But I think I’ve reached that point.

Not a system reset, just press the power button for about 5 seconds. It resets the hardware and does a full power cycle.

Definitely should use wired connection for amazon video anyways. You will have a ton of trouble getting true HD out of wireless connection with that. This is why I hooked up my PS3 with an Ethernet, Netflix and Amazon were both unreliable on wifi and now come in 1080p no problem.

Good to know. I’ll give that a shot when I get home. Thanks.

In an ideal situation, I would definitely do that. Unfortunately my current setup doesn’t allow for a wired hookup. Amazon video still comes in pretty well though.

They also sell an 802.11 N/AC wireless adapter as well.
