Anyone hear about this new, potential law? New cars must be sold with a spare tire sometime in the future?

Google literally gives me nothing. You mind backing this up with something?

Apparently it is slow legislation day somewheres...

I don’t have anything substantial at all to back this up with. Sorry, that is why I’m asking.

That’s hilarious, most people don’t know how to change a tire. I’d be more inclined to believe that cars will no longer be allowed to have spares (something about kneeling down in the middle of a dark street to carry out a task the average mundane has only a vague idea of how to accomplish)

Men (and women!) are less independent in terms of automotive competence, it seems.

I'm now intrigued...what cars come without a spare or a tire inflator kit? Or are you saying that they may be outlawing the inflator-only cars?

Too many people will say "That is what AAA is for!". Yeah, what good that will do for you when there is no cell service where you got stranded.

Corvettes haven’t had spares for years.
