Them’s some fancy boots.

I have some nice Alpinestars boots that have the zippers on the inside face so you can zip them up easily while sitting down. My old (also A-stars) boots had the zippers on the outside face and were a lot more of a PITA to zip up.

Interesting. Not sure you’d blend in at the stables here in Texas. Most riders wear leather boots.

I really didnt want anythig with the zipper being the main thing that holds it together. On the street im fine with zipper. On the track, I wanted something more secure.

Mine also have a huge expanse of velcro holding them together, but your point is taken.

Nice boots! I’m a dual sport (street legal dirt bike variety) and I was really tempted to get Sidi boots. With their price I ended up going Alpinestar Tech 7's. If I rode track I would have gone Sidi though. Having replaceable parts is a big bonus.

The fact that the zipper is just there for ease of entry and doesnt actually hold the boot together was my main attraction. I have a pair of a-star SMX-3S for the street, but track? Fuck that.

Rebuildable was a bonus.

I’ve got the previous model of these boots. They’re really nice and quite comfortable even for walking around (for a race boot).

Enjoy!

Merry Xmas to you! Those are awesome.

I just started shopping for a new pair for MX this year. I’m finding a quality size 14 to be a bit hard to find though.
