We should all write short full reviews on our cars with a standardized format and file them to whatever model archive so there is a huge database of car reviews for used car shopping. I know id be willing to write something for my car and maybe some of my past cars.
Also just installed the 2 inch suspension lift on my r50 ^

2004 Honda Accord Coupe review:
The transmission is still okay.

This is actually a great idea

Impressive feat. Almost bought an Acura CL but strayed away fearing honda trans issues.

Preventative maintenance is your friend. Just keep it running fresh fluid and keep it under 2500 RPM when its cold.

That’s a great idea I’m in.

2011 Ford Ranger
Pretty much the same as the 2010, 2009, 2008. 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004. 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1998, 1997, 1996, and 1995 Ranger.
Reliable, but shitty gas mileage.

And for God’s sake, never drive above 27 mph

*hits 28 mph*

In terms of format maybe do
1. Exterior
2. Interior
3. Drivetrain
4. Overall Driving Impressions
5. Reliability (This is key, note things that broke and how expensive parts were)
6. Conclusion

Writing like 10 reviews will take a while, but I’m down

Sounds awesome. What is this model archive you speak of?

2006 Saab 97x:
A horrendous peice of shit. Slow. Uncomfortable. Boring.
Never buy one.

A hypothetical archive, but there are already ones you can file a post to like toyota, nissan, etc.

I’m ok with it. I’ll throw one up for the 3rd gen. Mine is different than yours so it’ll be an interesting comparison

I’d definitely do this.

Sub 7-second 0-60 is pretty fucking quick for an SUV with an NA 6 cylinder, designed in the early 2000's. And I’m trying to think about what planet you live on in which it is uncomfortable.

Heres the trouble, its like asking 100 different people to review m&ms, were all going to have our own tastes and biases that make normalizing the reviews pretty much impossible...but...putting finger to keys and photos to net is a great idea in terms of providing people with SOMETHING when they google a review for an old car. Google “fzj80 review” and youll see what i mean. Good high res interior and exteripr pics into the googles might be just what someone iz looking for

My dad has owned one for the past almost three years. The seats have zero lateral support and you just slide around. Anyone over 5'10" can’t really comfortably fit in the back. It has no usable cup holders. The air suspension is way too firm and he compresser is really annoying. The transmission doesn’t shift until like 4000. It by no means deserve the Saab name.

Actually, that sounds worse than the Trailblazer, and more complex. That sounds pretty Saabish. Our Trailblazer seats, while not crazy bolstered, were fairly comfortable, and the suspension was super cushy. Regards interior was shitty, but it was a great highway cruiser. Regarding the rear seats, legroom wasn’t great, but compared to modern full-size cars, there was tons of space.

I need this lift (mine’s a ‘03). Link to where you bought your springs?

I think this sounds like a cool idea.
Also, who dares have the same model codename as Mini?? (The R50 is the first gen non-S Cooper... although now that I look, that generation Pathfinder definitely came first lol)

Good lift and $150. If you read the description he recommends the kyb shocks which I went with and they ride great. Mines an 02 too.

Uh-huh yeah because you can totally trust us to write impartial reiews of the cars we have daily driven and cared for for long periods of time.

Nice. Did you consider the AC springs as well? Definitely want to do this in 2017.

Yeah but a lot more money for what sounds like harsher ride quality I didnt feel like it was worth it. if i wanted more travel I would go that route though.
