I just don’t particularly want a 1988 Pontiac Grand Prix
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
That said, if I did, I would get this one. Just, without the dumb wheels.

You (and all of Oppo) know you want a 1988 Pontiac Grand Prix.

Better than a Juke.

I want cavalier seats for my joop. Direct bolt up and comfy, its the only good thing about a j body,

I’d take a GTP, but I’m not as keen on a regular Grand Prix

I have to say that the one thing I didn’t hate about the cavalier I’ve driven was the seats

I want those lowers with these uppers.

I want all of that.

Best cloth seats I’ve sat in. 90s and 2000s gm seats were super comfy but not meant for holding you in your seat during a spirited turn. Worst seats for long distance are e38 seats, the lumbar support doesn’t help. My back will hurt.

I think the best cloth seats I ever sat in were in my Volvo 144, they were amazing

I sort of miss this shitbox volvo 240 my friend and I tried to flip for a profit. car came from Massachusetts so the rust was bad. I need another rwd volvo in my life to haul yamaha synths, pretentious microbrews, and rent dodgers for the hipster experience.

Go to a junk year and put them in your garage like the top gear sofa set?

I’ve always liked these and the Buick equivalent with the bucket rear seats as a poor man’s 6 series.

I also need another Volvo in my life. I test drove a manual ‘79 244 with IPD lowering springs, sway bars, frame braces, and bilstein HDs. It drove fantastically, I really wish I’d bought that car.

If I had a garage, I totally would

So what happened with the e24 you wanted to buy?

The guy just stopped responding to me, so I’m assuming he sold it

What is with you Canadians and your Pontiacs? Vermont has 240s, California has Prii, and y’all have shitloads of nineties to 2000's “sporty” GM crapcans. That said, NP all day on this thing. It practically belongs in a museum it’s so clean, 10/10 would DD.

I have no idea why we bought so many Pontiacs. I’m pretty sure more than half of the remaining Montanas, Grand Ams, and G5s have to be in Canada. It’s weird...
Yeah this one is refreshingly well kept

Don’t forget your specialties either like the Firefly and Wave.

I thankfully don’t see that many Waves, but there are still some Fireflys kicking around

I have a ‘91. Seats aren’t anywhere near this thick, but can confirm they are uncannily comfortable. Like really, bizarrely comfortable. Easily my favorite part of the entire car.

All you need to do to improve it is make sure it’s an 89-90 Turbo Grand Prix. Part of my childhood was spent in those backseats in a car that looked nearly identical to this one.

That styling tho. I would NOT have placed that in the 80's. Looks nearer to a 97-98 than an 88.
