One of the characters drives an Isuzu Trooper, but with a fender situation I’ve never seen. I know it’s common to put big tires on 4x4s in Iceland, and Super Jeeps are a thing, but this looks factory. Also it’s clearly a diesel, which the internet tells me would be a big four cylinder, 3.0 or 3.1.
I would totally rock one of these, assuming it’s cheaper than a LandCruiser.
Here’s a couple more that came up when I searched “Isuzu Trooper Iceland”, still looking like this is a factory option. It’s so much cooler than the ones we got over here.

I was about to chime in and say you were wrong about the diesel displacement. Then I realized I’m not god, did some research and learned you are correct. I was thinking of the previous generation trooper diesel. Only reason I know about that is because it’s a common retrofit for defenders. 4jb1t. Great little engine. Don’t know anything about the newer ones though.

Yes and you can get one (well, I can get one) on a Landcruiser as well.

The first episode was good, it helps that Icelandic is one of my favourite languages to listen to
