So, I deleted the old thread. I decided to keep the dealer out of this while I get it all sorted out. The very freaking big oil stain is now embedded in the driver’s door. I called the dealer 3 times, the first time I left a message, the second and third times someone answered then immediately hung up. I SHOULDN’T HAVE TO CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR MESSES!!!! I take my car to get warranty to fix problems, not create more. Now I have a ruined door panel on a new car because a tech/porter/whoever couldn’t make sure they weren’t driving my car with dirty oil on their sleeve.

*Sigh*

At least in fun news, today is my last day of work for 2016. I don’t come back until about January 2nd, and I get paid for it!!! :D

In miscellaneous news. This is a bone stock Corolla driven by an elderly lady with “Never Lift” on the back...That’s like, Oppo as hell! There’s another sticker that says “Locally Hated”. I almost want to say it belongs to her grandkid or something, but idk.

Kinja'd!!!

Also, I’m driving Tucker because it’s been hella cold (and well, the oil)...I hope this isn’t things to come for the Winter. -10 Fahrenheit feels bad in the lungs.

Never lift in a FWD car? Serious balls.

That’s basically how you drive them fast on gravel.

Sounds like time to call the automakers customer service line.

I was going to put this on the back of my Explorer:

Kinja'd!!!

But then I got rid of the explorer and I figured I shouldn’t put it on my 1 series.

Still need to lift to get the initial bite on gravel even if you’re just going to power through the understeer on exit.

The automaker’s too busy trying to find a Nico Rosberg replacement to worry about such petty concerns.

Left foot braking gets you that turn in.

Step one: Go to junkyard

Step two: Find Isuzu Impulse

Step three: Remove Badge

Not sure what you’re talking about, here’s two of them in the same junkyard. I didn’t take any pics because October 2015 was an extremely rough month for me and had a bunch of things on my mind, taking pics of these Impulses wasn’t on it.

I wonder how much work it would take to make those headlamps fit on my AW11...

That is *complete* BS

Time for the manufacturer’s zone rep to know your name *very* well

I kinda hate to say this, but my SO bought a used import from the local Ford mill. The service manager, a dude, gave her the complete runaround on honoring something *written in the sales contract* till it pissed me off so bad I went and...didn’t quite get in his face, but called unacceptable BS That WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.  He was pissed about giving in but he did shut up and do the work as contractually agreed. I’m just guessing, that was what it felt like to be on the receiving end of bias (sexism).

If there’s any chance of bias going on here with your car? hopefully you’ll feel free to take whatever steps you have to, to solve it.

Not trying to be offensive here, just upset cuz of feeling that you aren’t being treated right and hoping it gets fixed for you

Kind regards and best wishes :)

Isuzu Impulses must have been more popular in your area.

Not sure, that same junkyard also had a Lancia Zagato . It was there when I first went in Jan of 2013, it was still there in October of 2015. All the other cars around it were different, seems they know what they have at that place.

To be completely honest, one thing I do have issues with is with sexism against myself. I can detect transphobia from a mile away, but sexism much less. Part of it is that as I’m teaching myself to be a woman, I’m also trying to find my own boundaries in what I should deem sexism and what I should not. The other problem being that it’s hard to tell what’s sexism and what’s transphobia unless the “offender” is being direct with it. lol

From what I remember from my dealership experience, these people were really super duper awesome, even stayed open a little later so I could pick up the car. I mean, I do warranty repairs with this specific dealer because the experience with them is so much better than either of the 2 (closer) dealerships. I want to call the oil stain a simple mistake, but the lack of communication has me fear they don’t want to own up to said mistake.

Ding!Ding!Ding!

They own this one whether they wanna admit it or not. Brand-new car? Sold by your dealership?? Puh-leeze!

I actually bought it from a dealership in California! However, that warranty is honorable at any USA smart dealership, so they’re still on the hook. lol
