Sent out to Fabspeed for warranty re-coat. Will demand to know why the coating failed.
This was discovered back in February, but waited until annual service for an opportunity to tear these out. Oil cooler lines need to be opened to access them.

Lots of track experiences available now. Granted, you will need to spend a small fortune to get more than the token 5 laps, but the market is growing.

I’ve been wondering, what is your DD?

How old are the headers? The stock are guaranteed to fail but I haven’t heard any horror stories about the Fabspeed.

I know. might get myself one for my 25th birthday or something.
Or start hanging out with the car ppl more. I know of at least 2 or 3 overly rich kids i can con into track days with fezzas.

They are 2 years old, but they were barely a year old when this started to happen.
It’s only the ceramic coat that’s peeling, so they will blast and re-coat. Annoying and expensive if done as a standalone repair, but not quite a horror story...
...in theory. We’ll see what Fabspeed says.

An Accord that my wife is loath to let me upgrade.

Makes sense, I figured it was something along those lines, mainly cause I hadn’t heard about it.

Good Luck! I’m glad it was just the coating and not a crack so you could take care of them at your service.

Who else saw FabSpeed and read that as something completely different
