Mmmmmm
You’ll need this stuff.
-Milk
-Cream(optional)
-Cocoa
-Vanilla
-Sugar
-Salt
-A themed cocoa cup
I start by filling cup about 2/3 of the way with milk.
Then the rest of the way with cream.
Mix your dry ingredients.
Two heaping tablespoons of cocoa.
Two tablespoons of sugar.
A bit of salt.
Mix.
Add milk.
Continuously Stir over low heat. Clumps will disappear as it heats up.
Add vanilla once it starts simmering.
Stir for a few more moments then pour.
Garnish as you see fit. I topped with whipped cream, chocolate chips and a cookie.

Thank you for this. It is
Most
tastefully
done, indeed
And I especially like the added salt
To bring out the flavor of your magical ingredients

The milk and cream pouring and swirling into the dry ings. hit a spot.
Sometimes I include a small dash of cinnamon for a touch of heat. (Hey! I know that hex tile! A coaster is a great idea.)

Ow, my pancreas!
That looks amazing. It took my sleep-addled brain a moment to process the cookie. That’s a masters thesis in hot cocoa.

I saw Bobby Flay make poached pears in mulled wine with whipped cream from *coconut milk* instead of from regular milk, for the lactose intolerant. It looked nom.
