For me its a Juke NISMO RS (FWD, 6spd). The NISMO RS is really rare, and rarely come up for sale. It does not help that Nissan discontinued the FWD NISMO RS in Canada for MY2017. They still sell the AWD NISMO RS, but CVT.
I’ve maybe seen 4 come up for sale since july. When they do the ad will say “extremely rare”, and put way high price on it.

yes. as I am attempting to sell my only ride, I am keeping a running list of local cars that fit my new car criteria so I can jump on buying one ASAP if/when my car sells.

Not any more, but I do get a notification in my mail when a certain car pops up. I used to continuously look for BMW E30 Tourings and Peugeot 205 GTis. I’ve owned 2 of the former and currently own the latter (plus a convertible version of the latter
and
a non-GTi version of the latter), so my reason to continuously look for those cars has ceased to exist.

About twice a week I look at Preludes and Skylines on Craigslist, just to see where the market currently is, and a few JDM cars on Goo-Net.

When I was trying to replace our freestyle with a lancer ralliart Sportback I was probably searching daily. You can always save yourself some time and setup craigslist and autotrader alerts.
I got really close to buying one, but then while I was trying to work some things out with the dealer, pickup and a PPI, it was sold. They are cool cars, EVO drivetrain, lancer hatchback body.

I really want a BMW Z4 3.0si coupe. They aren’t depreciating very much though.

I saw one on Auto Trader in Ottawa in the summer for $22,500. It was black w/ red interior.

Yikes...for some reason (probably the rarity of the coupe) this BMW is holding its value better than any of the others.
I just think the coupe’s proportions are SPOT ON. The long hood, the driver right in front of the rear axle, the curvaceous rear deck, the no overhang front bumper. This is how all cars should be shaped.

there are a FEW cars that i look up daily,, sometimes to see what other people have done, for inspiration. ideas, on how to keep my junk looking SLOW-ER.
also ways to build, so i dont have to do ALL the creative thinking.
theres the bug. and i am also picking up rather soon a pair of model t(tall T).
and while any schmuck can build a t bucket. i have yet to see someone come close to the jethot? 32 roadster, and its 4wd setup. imona TRY like crazy to put together a very low slung 4wd manual transmission model t. with any luck it might could look like this other one.(but a tall t coupe).......
its all about the research........

Those things are sorely under loved, a friend has a nicely modded one, very tasty. The Evolution IX wagon is the best though... only 5 more years (Canada)

Autech stagea 260rs, they are around in Canada. I don’t have the cash or the space. But if the right one showed up (R34 front end, bayside blue) measures would be taken. Lol
