As someone who didn’t watch season 23 of TG past the godawful first episode, this segment makes me REALLY excited for the next season, seeing that The Ginger is now gone.

I tried to watch an episode, it was terrible, it felt so forced. I’m hoping season 2 is a lot better, I’m gonna give it a shot. Also the 2002 edition of TG also made a cast change, remember Jason Dawe? No, me either.

Now that Chris and Rory are officially hosts I wonder (and hope) if they’ll roll the Extra Gear segments into the main show since that’s where they should of been from the start. Also abandon the rally car bollocks since it doesn’t work in the rain which this being England happens more often than not.

Looks great and no matter how many times I hear that story or the story about how the soft top used to flap so they stitched some lead weights into the seems to stop it.
On a pessimistic note. That car looked fantastically clean having driven from the U.K. to Geneva through the night and turned up at the last minute for the show.

This is from season 23 right? I swear I’ve seen it before.

All of Rory’s segments, both on Top Gear and Extra Gear were excellent IMO. Having him as one of the three main hosts next season makes me almost as happy as losing Ginger-Gone-Grey

Rory reid is a very good presenter. I hope they realise this and give him the screen time he deserves next season.

Jason Dawe could probably get you a good deal on Amazon Prime though :p
and if James May gets too old, they can always bring Dawe back! Replacing your replacement?
