Per IMSA’s Facebook page, Action Express Racing showed up to Daytona in their new Caddilac DPi’s with their liveries. Mazda showed up as well, with some actual lights on the RT-24!

Able to blend the factory livery and the team/main sponsor livery effortlessly. The graphic designer of that should get a raise.

Looks great! Would have loved a bit more colour ontop of just gloss black, but it does have a sort of dark TS040 feel to it. Here’s the old WTR DP for reference:

Yeah, I’m really happy they kept all the accent highlights and the crest shield design on the fin, makes the car look much better than I anticipated!

The front definitely looks more plain than previously for sure, the DPi definitely had some more skin on the roof to flash the racing stripes they’ve run for the past few years. That chrome blue they used on the fins would have looked wicked on the old car.

Those little vents on the Action Express cars make it look like they have little moustaches.

I hope they carry over their paint scheme from 2016, it will look phenomenal on the new Riley.
