When I put on my winter tires last weekend, I found these two wires/clips hanging off the right front caliper.
You can maybe see in the second picture that one end of one wire has been ground down from being where it is.
Nothing seems to be missing anywhere, and I have no braking problems of any kind, and no noises or other concerns.
My questions are: is this a big deal, and where did these clips come from?

anti rattle clips for the pad pins. The upper one seems to be missing entirely!

Anti rattle plate retention cups. There is a plate that is just a semi elliptical spring that keeps the pads from rattling and these hold it in. At least that’s my guess

You are correct.

My guess too. Anti-rattle.
