The Galaxy S7 is off to its new owner and a new Nexus 6P is on its way to my door as I type this. That made me think, what’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever sold?
I sell things on eBay...because I’m lazy and don’t want to deal with CraigsListing. And, I think the weirdest thing I’ve ever sold was a water damaged, scratched, and bent iPhone 4 frame: $27
What happened is that I bought an iPhone 4 with the intention of restoring it to new condition (for fun). After replacing every part but the logic board, I couldn’t get the darn thing to charge, so it was a total loss.
I then sold the water damaged screen from the same phone for $11
I bought the stupid phone for $40, sold it in pieces (with parts to spare) for $50.
Ignore my fingers, that was version 1.0 of me.
Why did two different people buy parts that I mentioned several times was water damaged and in bad condition? Beats me, but they did it anyway!
What’s the weirdest things you’ve sold?

Isn’t the S7 a better phone? Seems like a downgrade no?

The bike was the icing on the cake. Makes me think he was effectively going camping with a race car. xD

The S7 is better in every measurable way except size, but I just couldn’t stand TouchWiz, so as far as I’m concerned, this is an upgrade. :)

That or a pit bike, but you totally could go camping at most national parks and such since they are paved.

A pair of tickets to Super Bowl 46.
What made it so weird was that it was basically two scraps of cardboard that were worth nearly $3000. I was nervous as hell mailing them even though it was registered and insured.

A live 1' long Florida Gar on Craigslist.
Technically it wasn’t a sale as I didn’t receive money from it.

The second strangest thing I sold was Ricky Carmichael’s pants (autographed), which went for a buy it now of $800 in the first 12 hours, because I thought there was no way anyone would be willing to pay that much.
The first strangest thing I sold was a pair of old emblaming machines.
(Picture is not the machine sold, model pictured is about 30-40 years newer)

I sold jewlery in college and once sold a piece of body jewelry to a woman which was meant for a lobe not found on her ears. Not really weird, but that’s the weirdest.
