Dammit
First one I ever drove was a ‘92 LX 5.0 like this, when I was 16. The same family friend who had that car now has a new manual GT. I haven’t yet experienced that car, but now every time I see a Deep Impact Blue S550 I want to do horrible things to own one. A Coyote 5.0 S197 rolls by work every day, almost always on it, and I want to run out front just to hear the song of my people. I sometimes think I need to cut this BMW shit and get a Mustang to daily. We won’t be able to daily cars like this forever.

At this point? Any but a Mustang II. I’d kill for a new one, but I’d love to daily a late Fox 5.0.

You don’t need advice on this one from me do you? DO IT!

I search daily! Still need to sell the E46 wagon and have the beater E36 though, both would need to go for a Mustang, which would be worth it. BTW I may end up with that white Bavaria for nearly nothing if I can find a place to store it... the lady said she’d pretty much give it to me today. Aaaarrrgghh why more cars!

There’s an irrevocable answer to your last question. Because you’ve earned it. At least: That’s what I keep telling my self...

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need a mustang to become a mass murderer. There are plenty of ways to die that don’t involve running over people, cars, or coffee.

Good luck finding one that actually looks that nice.

I consider this regularly myself.
To date, the only one I’ve driven is my friend’s ‘84 2.8L turbo when we were in high school (would’ve been early ‘90s). He ragged that thing out and I’m sure it’s no longer driving anymore...but it was fun.

This is near me. I want it. I need another dark blue Ford. Maybe this one is fast.

I had an 86 with the 2.3 and a 4 speed manual. Mr Room-mate has an 89 with the 5.0. The 5.0 is very liveable I don’t like the looks of the post 87 models :/

The first rule of Mustanging is that we don’t talk about the Mustang II.
The second rule of Mustanging is that we don’t talk about the Mustang II.
I’m kidding, of course, but they were always regarded as the step-child and have only recently seen more of a following.

That is difficult. I’ve put a note on a clean green LX hatch like this that I see around, it’s perfect.

As do I. One 5.0 in my truck is not enough, I am compelled to seek another.

Oh man, that’s perfect, my second favorite color after the green. Wonder what’s in that one.

80's Mustangs (and Camaros) have this weird effect where they’re only respectable if they’re in showroom condition. Once they get that first dent or faded paint spot they immediately look like redneck garbage.

My first car was almost my grandma’s ‘84 2.3/manual Mustang Ghia, it was a shitbox by then, but it was enough to make me like the early ones. I really prefer the facelifted cars though.

From the sounds of it, a very mildly cammed sbf. It sounded great, yet not shouty.

My grandma had a light blue Mustang II hardtop with a white vinyl roof when I was little, before she got an ‘84 Ghia. Even then, I knew it was a piece of shit. I’ve always thought the Cobra fastbacks had visual potential, and there are some cool ones out there now.

So true, and that’s what almost all the available cars look like. I’d drive one in either shape, but would much prefer a clean one.

Perfect, I’d do the same. Just a cam and some breathing mods.
