Nah the red thing to the right connected to the battery post and has a yellow and a black wire coming out of it

yeah, they are fluke(name brand, trademark, copyrighted, all right reserved) official product. they are just jump leads, that can easily pierce insulation. i usually use sewing pins for that. but very good stuff, for tight places work. buy it once and forget about them, own them forever........ buy yourself something nice....
