Seen this morning in SF.
Love these old colors you don’t see much anymore.

Damn, with uncut fenders and a black plate? Time warp.
sm70- why not Duesenberg?

Beautiful. It’s rare to see these both unmodified and not deteriorated, but when you do, it’s worth it.
Is that mustang in the background yours?

Assuming the plates are original, this is also an early car, maybe registered later in 1968. Zero mods, grandpa’s baby?

I spoke to the owner. Definitely zero mods, but he’s my age or maybe even a tad younger.

No, they both belong to the same guy. Super nice. He owns a place that works on early Ford stuff in SF.

I wonder about the story behind it. Either grandpa gifted it to junior (I get questions like that now and then about my fintail, as people are amazed to see someone under 70 driving it), or a fellow preservationist. I suspect he’ll take care of it if it still looks so good - the douchebros from Riverside would have destroyed the thing in 1987.
