A close friend of mine recently bought a new Lacrosse. Brown with tan interior, brown trim(!!!!!!! Why can Buick do this but every other frigging company puts black no matter what color the interior is), and a decent amount of wood. I wasn’t crazy about the weirdly diagonal interior, and the rear visibility made me want to back over people out of spite, but damn, they put more thought and effort into the interior than I would have guessed.

For some reason GM liked to cram elephants in almost all Kadett ads at one point.

I just think that Buick’s “That’s a Buick?” advertisements aren’t doing them any favors. What they’re saying is, “Whoa, Buick’s aren’t fugly grandpa cars anymore?”

Every time I saw one of those commercials...”yup that is definitely a Buick...” Just like those Chevy commercials where people are saying a base equinox looks like a Lexus.

“Someone say... Buick?”.
Not quite. Crazie Kanuck has been repeating it like a mantra. Lol.

Saw one of these on the road yesterday. It’s a good looking car for sure.

Distinctive design language is one of *the* reasons to have a Buick. Their ad agency needs to be taken out back and shot... I mean “sent to a farm in the upstate”. No, they should be pushing that it’s your *great*-granddad’s Buick, now better than ever, because great-granddad was a classy motherfucker.
I mean, how do you do a complete 180 from the Harley Earl ads to this?

You want a nearly Buick? Here you go. Brown, diesel, turbo, (probably) manual - what more do you want?

Essentially. GM makes some good cars, but man, they really need to fire their entire advertising department. I swear to god, if I see another “real people, not actors” commercial, I’m burning Renaissance Centre down.

So much this. Beige interiors are just better. They make the cabin feel bigger and more luxurious.
Does Subaru still have tan cloth interiors on their cheap cars, or have they switched to gray/black?
