While traveling over the break, we came across a Ford Model A car club tour out of Texas. Several of the cars were driven here, but many of them were trailered. Don’t get the notion that these are trailer queens. They have a long driving tour starting tomorrow. We were fortunate that one of the owners was walking the parking lot and was willing to show us around his car. To make it more driveable, he added better seats, a/c (!), a high-compression head and electronic ignition!

Enjoy some pics of rolling history

For all the crap America takes for rancid looking cars, they did make good looking ones at one time.

These were dirt cheap entry level transportation that looked pretty much exactly like scaled down Lincolns. A lot of class for little money.

I would love to try driving a Model A for a week as my DD. That’d be fun.

I had the same thought. The upgraded seats and a/c would be required.

It would be really hard to go from 265 hp down to 48 hp.

Yeah, it’d be so weird going from my GTO to that, but I wanna do it. And 100% stock. It’d be so fun
