We are doing our part: sweet potatoes & deviled eggs and a small batch of gluten free green bean casserole. Almost done.

We are on the road, so most of our feast is pre-cooked. Turkey, potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, rolls, green fluff, and pumpkin pie.

Boil whatcha got. But I’m sure most kitchens right about now are a traffic jam of activity and all 4 burners are raging.

We are traveling, so we have a limited kitchen and our supplies are what we brought with us and that doesn’t include eggs. This is why I always try to make lists.
I’ll try not to cry over a lack of deviled eggs, but they will be missed.

That first freeze frame reminds me of last night at one of the ghastly expat bars that my inlaws like to frequent when they are here. The dancing scared me. I thought they should queue ambulances along with the taxis in case someone needed to go to the hospital (broken hip, heart attack, stroke, etc). It was like social hour at a rest home.
And, like every year down here, which we always do around Thanksgiving, we’re planning to eat Mexican food, because the traditional dinner is gross.

That sounds like what we usually get at the restaurant that has become the Thanksgiving tradition down here, except ours is Chateaubriand.
We’re also currently sitting on a beach under a palapa, it’s at least in the mid-80s, and it is sunny.
