I have an uncle who as recently as earlier this year tried to tell me that Obama was born in Kenya (why are boomers so susceptible to tinfoil hat stuff). It’s going to be fun. I already have a few no wall/no deportations/no Hillary trial/no tax return/no rebirth of 1950s economy lines ready.

I like to take some good quality vanilla and dribble some beautiful dessert wine on the top. A local winery sells a port-like chocolate wine which is too sweet to drink a glass of, but it’s just the best dumped on top of ice cream.

We had fake thanksgiving last weekend with family.

IF you want fun in that set up, my dad is on obamacare because he has a small business and obamacare was drastically better than what his insurance used to be.....and he HATES obama and obamacare - on principal not because it’s not saving him thousands each month . Very entertaining to watch him hate himself over it.

This year has made me even gladder that my mom & her husband stopped hosting Thanksgiving and just go down to their house in FL in October. I get to spend the holiday with friends I love instead of family I can barely stand.
