Back in the day I remember playing NFSU and starting my game with the Dogde Neon, because it was the fastest starter car. No joke it really was. And I painted it lime green because I wanted to be Brian O’Conner

I saw this minty fresh Neon green Neon this morning and I I kinda love it. But is it worth the asking price? The big question is which motor does it have? It’s got the bump in the hood, which I always thought indicated it had the DOCH engine.

Being a coupe with blank foglamps, is it an ACR? I think all ACRs are DOHC.

First thing I thought. It MIGHT be an ACR. ACR coupes were DOHC, sedans were SOHC.

NP. NYGs are rare, this one looks nice (no rust hopefully), and might be an ACR if those fog lights are missing...

I’d rather have a SOHC. Lighter, and makes more torque down low. Also if its an early ‘95 it’ll have the aluminum intake which is easy to port-match and make more power.

We’re the later intakes plastic? Or did they use steel intakes? ThT just seems odd.

Plastic. There was a bunch of weird differences in early to late ‘95 cars. Intake, tuning (supposedly), the switch from aluminum to steel and plastic parts... like the motor mount bracket.

I noticed that on the Wiki. I kinda love that they made the ACR. IT BE LIKE If they’d sell you a base model Fiesta with just the ST power trans and suspension.
