I want the blueprints! Besides a couple videos of working ones. All designs online appear to be unfinished. If someone can send me in the right direction for an engine to transmission kit. I’d totally give this a try. I can’t afford to engineer anything... but I’ve been pricing the pieces & if an engine to tranny kit is available... This might not be such a stupid idea

not enough torque for a miata. busa engines are best under 1500lbs. under 1000lbs if you can.

This car was built by Dave Coleman. It’s possible.

Edit: video added.

Motoiq.com in the projects section they feature one though I don’t know how far they got.

I’m not saying its not possible,. but you need to be either revving the nuts off of it 24/7 to go anywhere or you are slower than a BMW isetta.

I can’t find the kit on that site. It should be here

http://www.miatabusa.com/

But it’s not.

Hmph. Personally I’m going for the honda V6 swap. There’s a kit for that and my plan is to somehow convince ‘em to gimme one for half the $5k price. My belief is the v6 will never have a terribly inflated tuner cost.
