Ouch, I am old enough to remember the Cockpit. I also have somewhere an old issue of Autocar with it on the cover.

Even though by then they were under Ford control, Ghia always managed to create pretty interesting cars. I loved the Tuareg –an intriguing variation on Tom Tjaarda’s design– and, of course, the Focus show car by Taru Lahti:
