I check drivetribe and somehow my tribe is the most active??? The two most active tribes at the moment are both about old cars. It’s almost as if old cars are popular on the internet. Something I’ve been told before isn’t true by a person or persons who run a particular website which shall remain unnamed.

I think it’s too late now. I signed up right before they closed the invitation process, and only got my code a few days ago. It looks like a bunch of new people showed up today, so they’re probably the last of the invites. They’re supposed to open the site to everybody in december.

Oh wait, I do have this thing though:
It’s a bike motor that’s actually an adapted trolling motor. The prop shaft was shortened and the propeller was replaced with a rubber roller to drive the wheel. Would that be topical enough?

That’s awesome, definitely share that if you’d like! There’s a lot of overlap between boats and cars.... really anything motorized.
I know I’d at least like to know more about the bike...

They’re still figuring it out...
But basically it’s like blog groups? You can write your blog post, then share it with different groups. The closest thing I can think of is flickr groups. You can post a photo to your personal account, but then put it in a group, where other people can also put things. Apparently some people are upset because they thought it was going to like a regular blog site, but it’s all about the “tribes”.
