Look guys, today has been a great day for your boy T-Bolt.

It’s a Friday, I’ve got nothing to do this weekend, next week is Thanksgiving. And I’ve got tires coming!

Kinja'd!!!

For the second time this year, I’ve ordered the exact same set of tires: BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2s in 285/75/16.

I was super impressed with these tires when I put them on my F250, and since my Land Cruiser needs new shoes badly, I figured there was no reason to mess with success. These tires look awesome, are shockingly quiet and with the killer price I got from 4WheelParts there wasn’t any reason to mess around with something else.

The best part? Stock size for my FJZ80 is 275/70/16, but you can go to 285/75/16 without a lift with zero rubbing. The real reason that’s great, besides getting me a 33" tire (stock is 31 and change) is that the bigger tire was actually about $22 cheaper per tire. Yes, I can tell my wife I saved money by going to a bigger, fatter tire.

The Land Cruiser is about to have a great week. Sunday it’s getting its power seats fixed, along with a rail extension for the driver’s seat. Hopefully next Friday it’ll get tires and an inspection. It’s a good time to be a Land Cruiser.

My wife is short, I’ll have to see how she does with the .75 inch lift the tires are going to give me. I’ve already been told I can’t remove the running boards.

I’m about to upgrade to the same tire, from the older T/A KO.

I’ve heard that the KO2 is significantly quieter than the old KO, any merit to that?

Eh, showing 65mph it’s only going to be off by 3 or so. I’ll live with it for a little while anyway.

I guess that’s not too bad

I can’t speak to the KO, I only ever had the KO2, but they’re plenty quiet. I’ve had car tires that were significantly louder, and given that I drive the Land Cruiser as my DD, the noise (or lack thereof) was a big factor in my purchase. I think you’re going to like them a lot.

I’ve had these in 35s on my F350 for about 8000km now. They’re not great at anything in particular, but they’re pretty good at just about everything (except ice).

I’ll probably get them again, we’ll see how the winter goes.

I did, but I replaced then with slider steps. It’s not hard for my family to get in my truck. Even my 3 year old can do it

They’ve got them for $212 a tire, $70 off if you buy 4, $70 mail in rebate from Goodrich, and free shipping. $792 shipped to my door, so $722 total after the rebate. $100 cheaper than Tire Rack.

I liked them a lot in the snow on my F250, and I was impressed with their road manners. Plus they look awesome.

‘New tires’ is also probably my favorite smell in the world. One time I got tires installed at Town Fair, it took three hours and I didn’t even care because of tire smell.

I am ordering the same tires next week for my Ram Dually. Had the original KO’s on my Wrangler. I absolutely love these tires.

Very nice. I put a set on my Jeep a month ago, and my dad put a set on his truck today. So far so good.
