think how easy it would be to load bikes in the back. No need to try and load a bike 4 feet in the air.

Kinja'd!!!

also, Birddog bait

yes, I would put it on air-ride and slam it on its nuts when loading.

I was going to post that last F150 if you didn’t. Definitely one of the nicest looking trucks I’ve seen.

I bet all those trucks drive like barf like all the lowered trucks I’ve been in. I’ll take a low trailer instead thanks.

Many people with boats lower them to make the hitch angles be much more correct.

I wanted a lowered truck so bad, but I can’t lower my current one because snow, and my wife doesn’t think I need a second (well, 2nd running, 4th total) pickup. Once some debt is paid off though, I’m buying an older truck, and it’s getting slammed ASAP.

If they’re on air then they ride fine, because you just raise it back up for driving.

Makes sense. Just make sure you don’t put in such a big air tank that you lose all the bed space.

air tank would go under rear seat (if any will exist)

My favorite look wise are these. However your choice has more interior space correct?

Well, now I just have to get that sailboat I want and I can justify a lowered F350.

No insurance required on a trailer, and registering them is cheap. On my race car trailer (open car hauler), I paid right around $50 for a lifetime registration over 10 years ago.

for you.

canada requires at least theft on it.

More interior volume, and a lower load floor. No question, the Transit is much more aesthetically pleasing, but the Promaster/Ducato is king of Cargo Volume and Ease of Loading.

Meh, trailer stays outside with a tarp on it, no insurance needed on trailers. Buy one from someone off craigslist and its probably already lifetime registered.

refer to m,y other comment. trailers in canada need at least theft on them

and I have no more storage anyways. (live in suburbia, not allowed to store stuff on lawn)

I think that’s how it has also been with the Ford vs Chrysler/Mercedes/Whatever. And then GM is over there reminding people they exist.
