"Yowen - not necessarily not spaghetti and meatballs" (yowen)

EDIT: Found it :D !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Amazon mistakenly shipped me an oil pan, they are letting me keep it. Catch is, I don’t know what it goes to! Anyone know? If not I’m going to use it as a planter, or something. I’m also open to any other creative ideas for it.
Also, this is my first Oppo post in like 2 years and 28ish days. I was on hiatus for no apparent reason. Let’s just call it a sabbatical.

If you have a guest room, keep it under the bed as a very awkward bed pan.

Maybe a small block Mopar? No part number at all?

OR fill it with ice and use it for serving oysters on the half shell at his next party.

If you have a garage, or man cave put a screw into the wall and hang it up. Wall art & conversation piece.

Flip it over and cut a shift gate out of it. Then your car is basically an R8.

Could also use it for serving sushi on crushed ice or strap it to his back as an aero aid when riding a bike. The possibilities are endless. Who knows it could even be a catch tray for a midwife.

Center sump is a very common design for old Mopar. Also the full flat gasket. Definitely not GM or AMC.

Because we all know people hate to pee in pans that they’ve eaten oysters from? Haha.

No acquainted with any midwives, I do ride a bike, so there’s an option.

Amazon wouldn’t even know where to start, they probably have less of chance than i do at figuring it out. There is only one marking on it and it’s on the drain plug: “made in Taiwan”. That. is. it. Haha.

That drain plug will come in mighty handy.

The proportions suggest it could be an I6

“that time I got a mysterious oil pan” lol, it’s probably what I’ll end up doing, I can hang it in the basement.

Nothing, there isn’t anything stamped on anywhere. The drain plug says “made in taiwan” That’s ALL I know about it :/

Yeah, it looks like a low quality pan. I’m gonna stick with my MOPAR guess :)

Drill a hole in it, install a cheap clock mechanism and then hang it up. Functional art!

That’s awesome. I was going to guess big block, but I wasn’t sure enough.

chrome means muscle car or truck which narrows it down the fact its steel means old? count the number of bolt holes and look at things. or go on amazon and try to find it.
i think i found it well that was fast https://www.amazon.com/Assault-Racing-Products-CHRYSLER-CHROME/dp/B00S75DLEC/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1479422388&sr=8-7&keywords=chrome+oil+pan

Other people here identified it as likely being mopar, after that I searched Amazon for “Oil Pan Mopar”
