Amidst the F-types, P-Paces, and XEs, it’s possible to forget that the 2016 Jaguar XJR exists. But it does, and it has a 550 hp supercharged V-8. This one I found has the added bonus of being in sinister matte black.

TBH I’m not really digging the flat black but at least it solves the problem of the inexplicable black C-pillar panel that doesn’t flow with the lines of the quarter window. I’ve never been able to wrap my head around that particular styling element.

I love the taillights on these. One of the foreign exchange students pulled up in the 3.0L version with temp plates still on it. Then walked to the next street and another foreign exchange kid was driving a brand new Rover.

I really like the looks of the XJR, except for the rear end. It’s just so ... big.

Agreed on all points.
Plus that black plastic C pillar is prone to being melted by buildings.

Yeah, there aren’t many Lambos/GTRs/M4s among the foreign exchange students at my school, but there are quite a few new Range Rovers/A6s/3 series/etc.
